Overview
AI Teammates are intelligent agents deployed inside your communication channels — Slack, Microsoft Teams, and WhatsApp. They respond to questions using your organization's knowledge bases, execute automations, and connect to external systems for real-time data access.
Each teammate operates independently with its own persona, knowledge scope, and system integrations.
Setup Guide
Follow these steps to deploy your first AI teammate:

| 2 | Create a Knowledge Base | Upload documents and connect Google Drive to build the teammate's reference material |
| 3 | Grant Knowledge Access | Control which knowledge bases each teammate can search |
| 4 | Connect a Channel | Deploy the teammate to Slack, Microsoft Teams, or WhatsApp |
| 5 | Invite Team Members | Invite your team and assign roles so they can use the teammate |
| 6 | System Access | (Optional) Connect external systems for real-time data queries |
Prerequisites
- A Ventus Prime account at prime.ventus.ai
- Manage Teammates permission in your organization
- At least one communication channel connected (see Connect a Channel)
