Microsoft Teams Integration

Overview

This guide walks you through the full setup process to integrate Ventus AI with Microsoft Teams. Once configured, you can mention @Ventus Prime in any standard Teams channel to interact with your AI teammate.

What you'll set up

1. Connect Microsoft Teams to your Ventus Prime account
2. (Optional) Create a Knowledge Base and upload documents your AI teammate can reference
3. (Optional) Create a Teammate and assign knowledge bases to it
4. Use Ventus in Teams by mentioning @Ventus Prime in channels
5. (Optional) Customize the Bot Name to match your organization's branding

If you haven't created a Teammate or Knowledge Base yet, complete steps 2 and 3 before proceeding to step 4.

Prerequisites

• You have received an invitation email from your organization's administrator and accepted it — this means your Ventus Prime account is ready

• Access to your Microsoft Teams tenant (organization) to install the Ventus Prime app
